Group Therapy & Support Groups

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity for individuals to come together and find support in a safe, shared environment. Typically led by one or more experienced therapists, group therapy sessions consist of 5–15 participants who meet regularly, often once a week for an hour or two. Some individuals attend group therapy alongside individual sessions, while others focus exclusively on group support.

Our group therapy sessions are designed to address specific challenges such as depression, social anxiety, chronic pain, substance abuse, and many more. We also offer specialized groups that help individuals improve social skills, support adolescents and teens dealing with issues like anger, shyness, or low self-esteem, and guide people through the grieving process in bereavement groups. These groups, including those focused on loss from suicide, offer a compassionate space for healing and connection.
While the idea of joining a group of strangers can feel intimidating at first, group therapy provides unparalleled benefits. You gain access to a supportive network where you can share your experiences, learn from others, and develop strategies for overcoming personal challenges. Group members often support each other in a way that fosters accountability and strengthens individual progress.

The experience of listening to others can offer new perspectives and help you feel less isolated in your struggles. Over time, the group becomes a trusted source of support, encouragement, and connection, providing you with the tools to face life's challenges together. Whether you're struggling with mental health, coping with grief, or seeking personal growth, group therapy can be a transformative step on your healing journey.
