My name is Ashley Kiefer. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I am the owner of Kiefer Counseling. I opened doors this summer and have been overwhelmed and so grateful for all the support given. I have been working with children and families for over 15 years. After attaining my LCSW degree in 2016 I took a job as a hospice and medical social worker where I fell in love with working with those chronically/terminally Ill as well as with their families and providing bereavement support. In 2020 my husband and our two children moved to Terryville. I realized there was a need for mental health services and wanted to find a way to provide that to the community I myself am living and raising my family. What started as a one room space has evolved to multiple providers with a variety of experience in a suite of rooms which I hope are welcoming to anyone who enters our doors. It is my hope that this space offers healing as well as comfort. I take pride in having a team of people who are not only qualified but also welcoming and relatable. We truly believe that our clients are the experts of their own lives and that a one size fits all approach to treatment is not always best. My doors are always open!
